ACTION ALERT: Support McDermott-Ellison Letter on Siege of Gaza

One year has passed since Operation Cast Lead killed 1,400 Palestinians in Gaza and 13 Israelis. Since then, the draconian siege of Gaza has actually tightened despite a ceasefire. The result is a worsening humanitarian situation that had lead Oxfam to publicly ask “why the world has abandoned Gaza.” One way of taking a stand against the siege and helping to change Congress is to urge your Congressman to sign onto a "Dear Colleague" letter to President Obama sponsored by Rep. Jim McDermott and Rep. Keith Ellison.
McDermott-Ellison "Dear Colleague" Letter on Gaza expresses concern over the humanitarian effects of the blockade of Gaza and urges the lifting of the blockade.
